Molly Bwalya is a student at the University of Lusaka, Zambia. We all know why people go to universities: to get an education, in order to get a job, in order to get money, in order to provide one\u2019s material needs and wants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those aren\u2019t bad goals, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yet, there is an infinitely more important education to be had. And nobody knows this until they do, and once they do, everything changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While pursuing the knowledge of the temporal enterprise, Molly found herself holding in her hands the knowledge of the eternal enterprise. Here\u2019s her testimony:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI recently started reading this collection of Bible studies called Truth Link<\/em>. I must say, I have learned quite a number of things, a summary of how much God loves us. And I, personally, look forward to reading the lessons on the three angels’ messages and the one called Pleasures Forevermore<\/em>. In the first lesson, The Logic of Love<\/em>, I read the words, \u2018I want to hear God\u2019s voice speaking to me, in my heart, through the pages of the Bible.\u2019 This vivid statement caught my eye and pushed me into reading more of the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “If the Bible can make me feel this way, I think everyone should have the privilege of feeling the same way.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n \u201cI also saw in lesson one that King David expressed what we find in the Scriptures: \u2018I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure\u2019 (Psalm 119:162). I decided I ought to go by King David\u2019s path. This is a great message. If the Bible can make me feel this way, I think everyone should have the privilege of feeling the same way. God is love and as His followers we are defined by His love. Therefore, he who abides in love, abides in God, and God in him, for we know and see the love that God has for us. I looked at John 15:15 where Jesus says He is no longer calling us \u2018servants\u2019 but, instead, His \u2018friends.\u2019 This is more than great news.\u201d (edited for clarity to bridge the language barrier). <\/p>\n\n\n\n Molly\u2019s testimony is beautiful and revealing. Her experience is a kind of case study regarding the manner in which the Truth Link<\/em> curriculum lands on people\u2019s minds and hearts. Notice what Molly sees in these Bible studies: \u201ca summary of\u2026how much God loves us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, Molly, yes, that is the point, and we are so happy that you discovered the most important of all truths\u2014\u201chow much God loves us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n What is Truth Link<\/em>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Truth <\/em>Link<\/em> is a set of 27 Bible study guides that move systematically through all the major doctrinal truths of Scripture in the light of God\u2019s love: the creation and fall of humanity, the Sabbath, the sanctuary, the Ten Commandments, the first, second, and third angels\u2019 messages, death and hell, the second coming of Christ, the new heavens and a new earth, and many more Bible truths. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Light Bearers is printing multiplied millions of these Bible studies and shipping them to various open and eager countries. In Molly\u2019s case, God worked through a church member who gave her a set of Bible studies. Now, while she\u2019s pursuing her temporal education, she\u2019s also pursuing an eternal education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Western Province of Zambia is a 58-square-mile piece of property inhabited by nearly 20,000 human beings who find themselves belonging nowhere in the world. They have made their way here from Rwanda, Angola, Burundi, Somalia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, having fled their homelands for various desperate reasons. Mayukwayuka Settlement was established in 1966 and is one of the oldest refugee settlements in Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Evangelist Victor Chimbinde decided to make his way into this refugee settlement equipped with Truth <\/em>Link<\/em> Bible studies, provided for him by Riverside Farm Institute. Victor went through the camp passing out the Bible study guides. The reception was sufficiently positive that Victor was able to conduct a week of prayer and lead interested individuals through Truth Link<\/em>. Five people were baptized. Please pray for Victor’s continued work among the people at the Mayukwayuka Refugee Settlement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Molly is just one of millions who will have the truth of God\u2019s unfathomable love placed in their hands in the form of gospel literature because of your partnership with Light Bearers.
